So, what is diabetes? Really.

Diabetes is basically your body having a misunderstanding with sugar. Normally, insulin acts like a friendly Uber driver, helping glucose get from your bloodstream into your cells where it can be used for energy.

  • The uber never show up (Type 1) or,
  • The uber shows up but refers to listen to directions (Type 2)

Result? Sugar just hangs out in your blood

The immune system accidentally attacks the insulin factory. No insulin, no negotiation. If usually shows up early in the life and is not caused by eating cakes
